Employee Development

Corporate Training

Young, fast growing companies know that talent can be hard to attract, with long and expensive recruitment cycles. Today it is more important than ever to develop and implement an Employee Development Program. An effective EDP can increase employee satisfaction, reduce turnover and encourage your staff to recruit colleagues to your company.

Employee on-boarding is often overlooked. Each manager develops their own plan and materials. If a system is designed for curriculum and training paths are developed early in a companies growth the return is great.

AH can work with your team to develop a standard template for training materials. Learning management and education tracking will support the Employee Development Plans.

Employee Development Plans

Many companies mistakenly treat employee compensation reviews as the same process as their development plans. AH believes that these should be separate.

Compensation should be based on the value of what the employee is expected to deliver. Development is based on the expansion of the employees skills, knowledge and experience.

AH takes the basics of each of these to work with you to define the programs specific to your organization. Best practices are created through designing programs specific to your goals and your employees futures.

Executive Coaching

Historically companies expect executives to lead, develop strategy, manage a P&L, hire, fire, and develop their employees. Quite often, these executives need the coaching themselves. With startups - most of the team has never been an executive - so it is a bit of the blind leading.

An external coach enables each individual to speak openly and get input and counsel. When a company chooses to have the same coach work with the entire team, the coaching sessions have much more context and can be productive. Mis-alignments are identified quickly and the executives are guided through correcting the issue right away.
